Transferees receive personal area assistance from a
Relocation Specialist who will gather the necessary
information to move into action. This includes background
information on the candidate's current home, community,
schools, houses of worship and special needs. Knowing
the candidate's "profile", the Relocation
Specialist will interview, screen and match a Local
Relocation Specialist to the candidate. The Local Relocation
Specialist will become the candidate's "guide"
and provide city tours during the candidate's interview
stay.
The Local Relocation Counselor will meet with
the candidate, offer a guided overall tour of the new
community and accompany them on "open house visits"
to available housing within parameters laid out by the
candidate including their price range, compatible neighborhoods,
preferred environment, schools, shopping, family activities
and other personal preferences.
